Media Support Program 2026-2027

Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau (TCVB) offers support for overseas media professionals planning to feature Tokyo in printed or online articles, TV/radio programs, or videos that contribute to promoting tourism in Tokyo.

When requesting our media support, please carefully read the terms and conditions and agree when submitting your application.

1. What we offer

If your application for media support is approved, TCVB will provide some or all of the following support. Support is limited to within the Tokyo area (except the pick-up service to and from Narita Airport), and our support may vary according to your application, plan, and the predicted exposure of your media content.

Support
We provide three types of support:

■Transportation

  • Pick-up service to and from Haneda Airport or Narita Airport
  • Tokyo 1-Day Tickets that allow travel on the metro, buses, and JR lines*
  • *Up to 3 days’ worth of tickets. We cannot provide the Japan Rail Pass.
  • Arrangement for a vehicle and driver**

■Guide or Coordinator

  • Arrangement for a Guide or Coordinator for up to three days and up to eight hours/day

A guide cannot help arrange your coverage plan in advance or negotiate permissions for filming/photography. If you choose a Guide, please ensure you have obtained all coverage permissions yourself.
